Being in the business Focused Financial Planning, Inc. is in, we come across different investment opportunities quite frequently. These include investments, for example real estate, where we work with a company in Denver that buys commercial buildings in growing markets (not the coasts) that are fully leased. About a year ago an opportunity was presented to us to be a part of investments into camp grounds and RV parks. Both these investments had historical rate of returns of seven to ten percent. Our clients have also invested in natural gas wells. We also work with professional money managers that use different approaches and proprietary software in their investment strategies.

Focused Financial Planning, Inc. considers alternative investment an integral part of a client’s portfolio, but certainly not every alternative investment is suitable for every client. They also have different minimum investment amounts and often are only available for accredited investors.
