Diversification

Focused Financial Planning, Inc. believes diversification is the holy grail of investing. Without a solid diversification, any portfolio is exposed to too much risk that is not necessary. Diversification will certainly never give you a 30 percent up year, but on the other hand, you will be protected in a downturn to some extend.

Diversification will decrease volatility and therefore make you more comfortable sleeping at night, which is in the end probably the most important goal.
